Athena and Romeo make an explosive couple. Meeting due to a friend of Athena’s dating a guy that is in Romeo’s MC (motorcycle club), Romeo becomes enthralled with Athena and realizes that he wants nobody but her. He waits it out until she turns 18 and then all bets are off. What Athena doesn’t tell Romeo is that she has plans for her future that do not include her staying where they are. After she takes off, things are strained for Romeo due to him being in love and her leaving without so much as a backwards glance. When issues arise for Athena she returns and while Romeo is glad to know she’s back he’s also hurt over the way that she did him and isn’t quite as welcoming as she would like. In the end though things seem to work out for the couple. I am happy to say that this book does have a happy ending. Athena and Romeo though there is a few years difference in age, make this story so very explosive emotion wise. I also love that you get to read from both characters points of view, it makes it to where you get both of their thoughts and not just the thoughts of one person. Phoenyx did an amazing job on this book. This being the fourth book in the series I now feel like I need to go back and re-read all of the others just to be caught up again. While you can read this book and not have to read the others, if you like MC books it’s always great to read the books leading up to the next in a series due to seeing some repeating characters. I know I can’t wait until the next book comes out so that I can continue on with all of the people from this series. I hope that you like the book as much as I have.
