HOT! HOLY ALPHA! I have already pre-ordered the next book! I want to find out what happens next! Reading mafia/mob type books can either go really good or not so good but decent. This book was really good. My only wish is that it was dragged out a bit more. Things seemed to start and end really quickly. Other than that…I really enjoyed this book. Dalia Fury…what an awesome name! Dalia’s character is sassy, strong and spicy. She really does play the “independent woman” role quite well. Strong for her mother and sister, sassy with her roommate and spicy and fearless with Zane. Zane…that’s one dominating male. He fits being a Russian boss perfectly. Constantly stoic and poised. He is demanding and controlling, but somehow he is softening to Dalia. There are a few surprises and a few twists to thicken the plot. Now…the sex…wow!!! Very graphic and very intense. It’s been awhile since I have read anything that powerful and playful. The story flowed very well. For me, it was a page turner and I truly didn’t want to put the book down. I enjoyed the personal connections that Dalia started to have with Zane’s staff as well as her mom, sister and best-friend. The author made this book truly touching with the female interactions. Then the author made me cry when true emotional connections started to happen between Dalia and Zane and angry when Zane starts to push her away. This book is an emotional rollercoaster. But it takes you in full circle. The story ended in a cliffhanger but it was set up well. Like I said before, I really wish the story was longer and a bit more drawn out. It would have added to the dramatization of the story. Other than that…truly great story and can’t wait to read the next part.
