Just Give Me A Reason by Rachel Rogers Maher, was a great read. I enjoyed the story from the beginning to the end. The story is about Tony Lopez who is a divorced father of two that owns his own store that is failing. Beth Cody who works in a store and is pregnant whom the father gave up right to after a one-night stand. They were brought together by her friend and his brother for a meal six months prior to them coming together again. They both felt a bond between them when they first met. After time apart they see one another again for a barbecue. They still feel that spark. Tony stays at his brother’s house on a vacation away from his job and his daughters are with their mother for the week. Beth lives 30 minutes away and her electricity goes out during a storm and arrives to her friend’s house to stay where Tony is already staying. One thing leads to another. Tony is one for a committed relationship and Beth doesn’t want a relationship but casual sex. She is scared she will hurt his feeling if she leads him on. While together they decide for the week of his vacation they will have a casual/sexual relationship and go back to just being friends afterward. While they are together she has a pregnancy scare and Tony stays by her side during that time and when her friend arrives the next day he leaves. They continue to talk and text for the next few weeks. When they see on another again for thanksgiving they don’t speak openly in front of people but turn to one another in the night. The next morning, she is having some contractions and soon Tony is delivering her baby. He takes leave after he believes she is fine and doing well with the baby. He continues to want a relationship and she just wants casual but is becoming to conflicting Interest in a relationship. Can they make it a relationship together or make it casual, read this great story to find the results?
